Pre installation
- You MUST uninstall any Trial and/or any other versions of PowerDirector.
- Make sure you're logged in to an Administrators account on your PC.
The Installation
- Run the setup 'As Administrator'. (Right click on file and select 'Run as Administrator')
- Setup may take some time to load as it's a large file.
- Click 'Next' to proceed with the installation
- Copy the generated 'Product Key' to your clipboard before clicking Install.
- Click the 'Install' button to launch the setup.
- Follow the installer prompts.
- Paste the 'Product Key' in to the text box when asked.
- Continue to follow the installer prompts.
- You will be asked to install Quicktime if the codecs are not present on your PC.
- All the Ultimate Suite programs will install.
- When installation completes click 'Finish'.
- Click the 'Patch' button.
- Patching Success will be indicated.
- Close the Cruzified setup.
- An 'Activation Key' is generated with the 'Product Key'. This is not needed to install and Activate the PD Ult Suite 14.0, but it should be kept as it may be needed for future updates.
- Both keys are automatically saved to your Documents/Cyberlink folder.
- Updates, Plugins and Effects can be installed as normal.
